Vintage embroidered folk set in a faintly faded black cotton with intricate geometric motifs. Exact year and country of origin unknown, but it is likely from Eastern Europe. The shirt closes with hook & eyes up the front with decorative fabric covered buttons over them, and the skirt closes with hook & eyes and a drawstring at the side of the waist. There are fabric shoulder pads which could be removed with a seam ripper if desired. Still very durable and wearable and in excellent condition for its age.
